Musical director, producer, composer and performer Todd Schroeder was a featured workshop teacher at Camp Bravo's Drama Teachers Retreat from May 22 through May 25. The Drama Teachers Retreat took place at Camp Bravo, a performing arts camp located at the de Beneville Pines Camp facility in the San Bernardino National Forest, roughly two hours from Los Angeles.
At the four-day educational retreat, Schroeder taught "Creating Musical Theatre For a New Generation," a workshop that drew upon Schroeder's 20-plus years of experience as one of the industry's most notable celebrity musical directors.
Schroeder has been actively involved with the performing arts camp in recent years, acting as musical director for Camp Bravo's annual "Back to Bravo" celebrity fundraiser benefit. The camp provides young people of diverse backgrounds who are interested in the performing arts, ages 10-18, with a beautiful forestal setting and non-competitive environment in which to immerse themselves in the thrill of performing.
