Todd has worked on behalf of Universal Studios Japan (USJ), located in Osaka Japan, for the past 14 years.
Todd was first brought in to musical direct their worldwide audition tour in 2002. He has continued as a member of the audition team every year in addition to visiting Osaka every spring to mount and remount their many live shows. Additional projects have included "Universal Monsters Live”, a rock and roll revue, "The Blues Brothers" featuring Jake and Elwood and friends, and “Funky Freda”, a tribute to disco divas. He also composed original music for their live animal show, “Toto and Friends.” In 2006, Todd had the honor of working with Stephen Schwartz on a special production of “Wicked” created especially for USJ. Todd musical directed this production for 4 years and was involved in casting, recording and mounting this unique show that was performed in both English and Japanese.
Todd served as Music Director for The Thalians 56th Gala Tribute Concert Honoring Smokey Robinson Benefiting the Wounded Warriors of UCLA Operation Mend.
The concert featured performances of Smokey's songs by Guy Sebastian, Taylor Dayne, Natasha & Cheech Marin, PLAYER, Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Florence LaRue, Joy Enriquez, Bobby Arvon, AKNU, and Quinton Marcel, all led by Musical director Todd Schroeder at House of Blues Sunset Strip. All Vimeo On Demand proceeds benefit Thalians mental health programs for UCLA Operation Mend patients and their families.

Todd has appeared on EXTRA live performance episodes with various performing artists.
Todd served as music director, ”band leader” and “sidekick” to Sheryl Lee for The Sheryl Lee Ralph Show pilot produced by Monique Chenault for Buena Vista Television.
Todd had the tremendous honor of performing at the White House in Washington DC where he served as music director for Sam Harris.
Todd composed for several episodes of the American soap opera Guiding Light, on which his previously recorded songs were also licensed.
