AUDITIONING FOR TODAY’S MUSICAL THEATRE

Todd Schroeder has worked as a casting director, consultant, music director and pianist for many of today’s top Broadway musicals including “Aladdin”, “Dirty Dancing”, “Legally Blond” as well as Disney and Universal Studios and the YouTube sensation, “Postmodern Jukebox”.

In addition, Todd coaches and arranges for many Broadway stars including Leslie Odom Jr., Jason Alexander, Angela Lansbury, Shoshana Bean and many others.

This two-day Master Class will cover all the elements needed to work in Today’s Musical Theatre including:

• What the Casting Director is Really Looking For
• Finding and Arranging your Audition Song in the Right Key
• How to Make the Audition Pianist your Best Ally
• What should and shouldn’t go on your CV *How to make the most of your time in the room

At the end of the class there will be a performance to “audition” for an invited panel of Industry Professionals and guests.
